I received Dr. Hajo Sani, OONAmbassador, Permanent Delegate of Nigeria to @UNESCO , who paid a courtesy visit to my office today in Abuja.

I am pleased to have attended the launch of the Better Education for Africa's Rise (BEAR III) Project, a joint initiative between UNESCO and the Republic of Korea for the years 2023-2027. The project aims to enhance access to decent employment and self-employment opportunities for youths, while equipping industries with the necessary skills to fuel economic growth and contribute to building peaceful societies. Additionally, the BEAR III Project focuses on strengthening Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) with the goal of transforming TVET for successful and just transitions. TVET is recognized as an effective means of alleviating poverty and empowering individuals.

I had the honor of hosting His Excellency Okezie Ikpeazu, the Former Governor of Abia State, who paid a courtesy visit to my office in Abuja.

I received the Gombe State Hon. Commissioner of Education @MinofEduGombe, Dr. Aishatu Umar Maigari, who paid a courtesy visit to my office today.

We received a delegation from Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry @ACCINigeria , led by the President, Chief Emeka Akajiugo Obegolu SAN, The team briefed us on the activities of the Chamber as well as other arms of the Chamber like the Business Entrepreneurship Skills and Technology (BEST) Centre of the Abuja Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ACCI), established with the mandate of capacity building and operating a world-class learning Centre to equip individuals and organizations with the relevant capacity to ensure sustainability and enhance productivity as well as promote economic development.Also, they intimated us of their plan to establish the ACCI continental University, a multilingual institution that would cater for Africa’s diverse needs and support the African Continental Free Trade Area agreement (AfCFTA).

Yesterday I stopped by to share my encouragement and guidance with young participants of the Skills Acquisition and Empowerment Program "UNLOCK TVEE" An Initiative of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Technical,Vocational, and Entrepreneurship Education, @OSSAPTVEEng as part of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

As part of my official visit to Sokoto state,I paid a courtesy visit to the Governor of Sokoto State, His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Aliyu Sokoto FCNA @Ahmedaliyuskt at the Government House Sokoto.

Also, I paid royal homage to the Sultan of Sokoto and President-General Nigerian Supreme Council For Islamic Affairs, His Eminence Sultan Muhammad Sa'ad Abubakar III at His Palace in Sokoto.

We also paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman House Committee on Alternative Education, Hon. Arc. Ibrahim Al Mustapha Aliyu, member representing Wurno/Rabah Federal Constituency,at his residence in Sokoto.
